Beginning Knitting Classes
Cost: $40.00 (which includes yarn and needles for one dishcloth)
This series of three classes will introduce you to knitting fundamentals; cast-on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, ribbing, bind-off, gauge, and basic pattern reading. You should be able to complete a project by the end of class.

Beginning Crochet
Cost: $40.00 (which includes yarn and a hook for one dishcloth)
This series of three classes will introduce you to crochet fundamentals and stitches including chaining; single, double and half double crochet; increasing; decreasing; and, if time permits, a basic granny square.

Whooo Fingerless Mitts (Click to View)
Cost $25 plus materials (pattern included in class fee)
These can be used as glove toppers or just fingerless mitts. These mitts knit out of Fleuris yarn are fun to knit in the round with a cabled owl pattern outlining the top and cuff. You may find they make great gifts and find yourself knitting more! Intermediate.

Seven Circles Cowl (Click to View)
Cost $20 plus materials (free pattern download)
Utilize your knitting skills and make this fun cowl. Can be worn as a decorative necklace or for a warm/light cowl. You will be knitting seven circles all connected together at the back of your neck.

Colorful Baby Hat (Click to View)
Cost $25 plus materials (pattern included in class fee)
Knit this fun baby hat in the round on double point needles. You will be knitting and purling in the round along with decreasing and knitting short i-cords.

Basic Sock
Cost $25 plus materials and pattern
We're going back to basics and creating a ribbed sock; learning the fundamentals of sock construction. You will be knitting on double point needles, turning a heel and decreasing for the toe. We will create a baby sock in class.

Fiddlehead Mittens
Cost $35 plus materials and pattern (must download)
The Fiddlehead Mitten is a stranded mitten with a "sore thumb" and a traditional mitten shape. These great mittens look wonderful in a variety of yarns and colors. The mitten can be knit with one main color and 5 contrast colors or one main and one contrast. You will learn how to knit in the round on double pointed needles, strand with two colors, pick up stitches, cast-on with an I-cord, and read a colorwork chart.

Sports Fan Hat (Click to View)

Attention sports fans looking to create a really great hat for their loved ones AND knitters yearning to learn to do colorwork/stranding; this is the class for you! Stop in, sign up, choose your favorite team colors, choose your brim style and begin the base of your hat prior to class (this is the homework). In class we will learn the basics of stranding and complete the top portion of the hat. Please be comfortable knitting in the round on circular needles and double points.

Pools of Beads Scarf
Cost $30 plus materials (pattern included in class fee)
We have created a new beaded scarf project for you. ?Pools of Beads? are randomly spaced throughout the scarf. Make your own piece of art by choosing your yarn and your beads. No two scarves will be alike.

This beautiful wrap is knit out of one of Classic Elite?s newest all natural yarns and has a very classic appeal. We will be shaping the wrap as we knit the sawtooth border with bobbles. This project is most comfortable for intermediate knitters.

Spectra is a simple lightweight scarf featuring two fingering weight yarns. Short row shaping creates a dramatically curved edge that coils and playfully drapes. Ok, it may not be a sexy subject, but knowing the secrets of finishing can be pretty exciting and downright empowering. Learn the joy of sleek shoulder lines, invisible seams, picking up the perfect number of stitches without counting, beautiful buttonholes, ?shortening? sleeves, taming sleeveless armholes and other touches. It it?s worth knitting, it?s worth finishing beautifully?and easily. Homework required prior to class.

Basic Mitten (Click to View)
Cost $25 plus materials and pattern
Learn how to knit a basic mitten. You will knit the cuff at home and we will teach you how to knit the thumb gusset and thumb. You must be comfortable knitting in the round using four double pointed needles. Homework required.

These super simple wristlets knit up very quickly; they are knit in garter stitch with bulky yarn. You will learn how to knit a ruffle and how to seam garter stitch. Homework required.

Mobeius Felted Bowls (Click to View)

Impress your friends by knitting a set of bowls utilizing the mobeius cast on. You will need a 40? or longer circular needle and learn a unique cast on which forms a petal-like rim on your bowls. You will also use the applied I-cord method of binding off. No Homework.

Picot Edge Fingerless Mitts

This one skein project has become a shop favorite. Wear them when knitting outdoors on a chilly day. Or layer them over your fine leather gloves when the temperature drops.

Toe Up Sock Class
Cost $40 plus supplies (pattern included)
Come explore socks from the Toe Up! These socks are worked from the toe up with an Eastern cast on, include a short row heel and end with a sewn bind off. You will make a small sample sock to learn all the skills in two class periods. Socks will be demonstrated on double pointed needles.
